Teach Pendant Programming and Coordinate Frames
Students will master the essential skills for operating and programming industrial robots using a teach pendant interface. The curriculum covers a detailed exploration of various coordinate systems (joint, world, tool, user), their applications, and how to effectively switch and manipulate them for precise robot control. Practical sessions will focus on jogging, tool definition, work object creation, basic motion commands, program flow control, and input/output interaction. Emphasis is placed on safe operation procedures, structured programming practices, and troubleshooting common issues. This course is designed to equip future technicians with the foundational knowledge and hands-on experience required to confidently interact with and program industrial robotic systems.
